Many thanks to Fr. Carl Dekat,

  "Misereatur tui omnipotens Deus, et
dimissis peccatis tuis, perducat te ad
   vitam aeternam..."

Father Fryar, newly ordained gave
and continues to give many first blessings.

Catholics came from all over the
globe to attend Father's first Mass.

  There were people from Australia,
  Nebraska, California, etc.

The Knights of Columbas raise
their swords at the elevation of the Chalice.

The chasuble worn by Fr. Fryar is
  approximately 200 years old, as
is the cope won by Fr. Flood.

   and assistant priest.

The priest turns toward the congregation,
singing the words "Dominus Vobiscum,"
which means, "May the Lord be with you."

   "Ecce agnus Dei . . ."
"Behold the Lamb of God . . ."
   We behold our Blessed Redeemer.

The deacon at a Solemn Mass is given
the privilege of chanting the Gospel.
It will be recalled that St. Francis of Assisi was
never ordained a priest, yet he wanted to be
ordained a deacon (and, indeed, was)
"that I might be allowed to proclaim
the holy Gospel . . ."
