Renaissance Polyphony — RETURN TO CHOIRS

On April 16th, 2005, members of the St. John Mary Vianney Choir met at St. Joseph's Catholic church in Topeka for a miniature "choral clinic."

The clinic was run by Dr. James Daugherty, an internationally-acclaimed choir director, music educator, and researcher of choral methods. Instruction was given, and a few recordings were made (within the 1.5 hour time frame).

By clicking on the above button (or down below), you can hear the KYRIE ELEISON by T.L. Victoria (from the a6 Requiem of 1605). You may also hear the SANCTUS and BENEDICTUS from Victoria's Missa Ascendens Christus in Altus.
